Community Pride Award

The Parish Council are pleased to announce the launch of this award designed to recognise each year the contribution made to the Village by a selected individual. The choice of nominee will be made by an independent judging panel and their decision shall be final. Nomination forms can be downloaded by clicking the link below, requiring completion and return to the Parish Council Clerk for onward transmission to the Judges. The Parish Council are keen that the scope for the award will be as unrestricted as possible with  no stipulation that the person nominated or the nominee need to be resident in the Village. Neither is it considered necessary that the achievements being acknowledged must have occurred during the year of the award, any time prior is appropriate. There are numerous persons who have over the years given selflessly for the benefit of the community and with this award the opportunity to publicly celebrate that service has become available.
